Epuyen

Freshwater Patagonia, Argentina: Epuyen

Season 2016

The rivers in general presented at the beginning of the season (November-December) very low water conditions, due to the scarce snow during the winter.

During the first 3 months od the season, there weather was quite windy, which limited the use to streamers and nymphs, technique which help capture a big amount of fish; salmon and brown trout in pools and deep streams.

The weather got stabilized from February onwards and it was able to fish with the regular dry flies; myflys and caddys which made possible a huge quantity of arco irirs and brown trout fishing.

March and April were stable months with good weather, calm days around 20 Cē.

By the end of the season the salmon appeared again and reactivated the brown trout.
