We traveled to the marshlands with a group of fishing friends, there were six of us in total. As usual, the service was excellent, which was proven by the quick reaction to a medical emergency. And the fishing was outstanding!
I estimate that we caught more than 300 dorados between the three boats, many between 1 and 2 kg and dozens between 3 and 7 kg.
I was lucky enough to catch a monster, a 15 kg trophy according to the guide Nicolás's estimate.
The fight with this giant was very tough, because in its first run it went under a marshland and jumped on the other side. I thought we had lost it, but I was wrong. I still don't know how we managed to get it back to our side of the marshlands and then we had to get it out from under it. Finally we got it and I had to put it in the net, since Nicolás was holding it by the leader.
It is, for now, the dorado of my life.
