Trip Overview

We are offering this exclusive program to those visitors willing to go back in time and get to know the Incas culture. We suggest spending the first night in the city of Lima and visit its churches, monasteries and colonial houses, symbols of its ancient and noble traditions.
You will take a flight to Cusco the following day. Located 3,000 metres avove sea level, the city holds the heritage of the Incas art and is surrounded by a magic atmosphere, making it impossible to ignore the sacred nature it used to have in the past. You will stay at the Hotel Monasterio, which was built in 1592. Walking along its corridors and through its patios will take you back to the 16th century.
On the third day, you will have the morning at leisure. In the afternoon, you will go sightseeing on a city tour to visit Santo Domingo Convent, the main centre to worship the God Sun, Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral and Church, the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, which used to be an Inca militar fortress that governs the city, famous for its energy for meditation sessions. After the city tour you will return to Cusco.
On the fourth day, you will head for the Sacred Valley of the Incas, where you will visit the colourful Pisac market and appreciate its mixture of colour, tradition and people. You will get up to Ollantaytambo, the oldest town in the American continent.
On the fifth day you will get on the amazing de-luxe train Hiram Bingham to one of the most important energetic centres in the world: Machu Pichu. On the way, you will enjoy a breathtaking view of the Sacred Valley of Urumbamba.
When you get to Aguas Calientes station, you will take a bus to the city and a professional guide will explain the story of the mysterious place. Afterwards, you will have a buffet lunch. Accommodation will be at the Sanctuary lodge, including breakfast, lunch and dinner.
On the sixth day, you will have the morning at leisure to visit remote sights such as Intipunku or Puerta del Sol. The most adventurous can enjoy an adrenalinic ascent of Huayna Picchu or Montaña Joven and visit the Temple of the Moon.
In the afternoon, after lunch, you will return to Cusco by train and spend the night there to make the most of the lively nightlife of this city.
On the seventh day, you will be transferred to the airport in Cusco to take the flight to Lima and other connections.

Package

Day 1
Arrival at the airport in Lima. Reception at the airport and private transportation to 5-star Hotel Miraflores Park Plaza, including breakfast. In the afternoon, private city tour visiting the Plaza Mayor, Government Palace, Cathedral, Archbishop Palace, San Francisco Convent and Miraflores. Return to the hotel.

Day 2
Breakfast. Private transportation to the airport in Lima to take the flight to Cusco. Arrival, reception at the airport and transportation to 5-star Hotel Monasterio, including breakfast. Afternoon and evening at leisure to get acclimatized.

Day 3
Breakfast. Morning at leisure. In the afternoon, private city tour to visit Santo Domingo Convent, Plaza de Armas, Cathedral, Fortress of Sacsayhuaman and other areas of archaeological interest such as Qenko, Puca-Pucara and Tambomachay. Return to Cusco. Accommodation.

Day 4
Breakfast. Full-day private excursion to the Sacred Valley, including lunch. In the afternoon, return to the hotel. Accommodation.

Day 5
Breakfast and transportation to the train station to take the Irma Bingham, a de-luxe train bound for Aguas Calientes. Arrival and escort service to take the bus that will drive you to the ciudadela or village. After the guided tour, you will have some time to explore the area on your own. Descent to the town and accommodation at the 4-star lodge Hotel Sanctuary, including breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 6
Breakfast. Morning at leisure for an optional second visit to Machu Pichu. Lunch and transportation to take the train back to Cusco in the afternoon. Our staff will be waiting for you at Poroy station to take you to the Hotel. Accommodation in the Hotel Monasterio, including breakfast. Evening at leisure.

Day 7
Breakfast. Private transportation to the airport in Cusco to take the flight to Lima and other connections.
