Fortunate to have had another good season despite the driest and warmest summer on record. Water levels on the Bonaventure Petite Cascapedia and Grand Cascapedia reached all time lows. Despite all of this water temperatures remained cool considering the weather.
The fall run was late this year due to low water but there were plenty of salmon in the system, not so great for anglers but certainly good for the river.
This year was particularly tough due to difficult conditions, more specifically hot weather and low water, but there were plenty of salmon in the pools and plenty of opportunities.
