The golden ones, which are in good quantity, can weigh between 4 and 10 pounds, even reaching 15 pounds. It is fished all year round depending on the conditions of the river.
Trip Overview
Only 163 miles from Buenos Aires city, which takes just over 3 hours of travel along the highway, is the town of Villa Constitución from where you embark to fish for dorado in a vast area of channels, streams and islands. The golden ones, which are in good quantity, can weigh between 4 and 10 pounds, even reaching 15 pounds. The boats are Carolina Skiff 17 feet with 4-stroke engines and an electric motor that allows you to approach the structures in absolute silence. Navigation between one fishing area and another does not take more than 20 minutes and it is fished both on the banks of the Parana River and the Pavón River and in streams and channels. All the guides are professionals who know the area very well. Fishing can be done all year round depending on the conditions of the river.
Package
The packages can be 1, 2 or 3 days of fishing.
It leaves at 8am from the port of Villa Constitución to fish all day, returning between 6:30 pm and 7:30 pm. A light lunch and all beverages are included. The fishing areas are decided by the guide according to the weather and river conditions.
Accommodation
To overnight, Villa Constitución or San Nicolás are suggested, which have adequate hotels and whose cost is not included in the package.
Tackle and Flies
The use of a 9 foot # 7 or # 8 rod is recommended to be able to cast larger and somewhat weighted flies, although it is also possible to use up to a # 5 and / or # 6 rod. The reels must have good brake and not less than 150 yards of backing of 20 or 30 pounds with WF line, we also recommend a Sinking Tip or Full Intermediate line. The flies can be varied, Deceiver or Andino pattern, somewhat weighted with lengths between 4 and 10 inches and hook # 2/0 or # 3/0. The 7 ft. 0.60 or 0.70 monofilament leaders and 30 pound and 40 pound steel shock tippet.

Rates include:
2 fishing days with 1 guide and skiff x 2 anglers. Lunch box, beverages, fishing gear, flies and fishing license.
Rates do not include:
Tranfers (but we can arrange), personal health insurance, accommodation (we suggest 2 different hotels) and guide gratuities.
Notes:
It's possible to arrange one or more than two fishing days.
